Job Description
As a Warehouse Assistant, you would be responsible to ensure a high level of accuracy with product management, as well as safe custody/storage of business assets. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a safety focus and demonstrate a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in ColdHaus Direct’s daily inbound or outbound warehouse operations
- Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks following company paid certification
- Quality control to ensure accuracy of put aways and proper securement of product
- Receive, check in and put away inbound stock in a timely and accurate manner
- Replenish picking locations following FIFO and unload inbound trailers
- Work within our fulfillment department for major brand order processing and E-commerce fulfillment
- Assist customers at our facility for pickups and drop offs
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Help maintain our AA BRC rating, the highest food grade certification available
Qualifications
- Minimum of one to three-years’ warehouse experience, and Secondary-school education is preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and motorized pallet jacks is desired
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Results oriented
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ambition to want to learn new technology processes with scanning inbound and outbound packages
