Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves blending and packaging chemicals, operating a forklift for loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Occasional deliveries may be needed, so a valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
- Blend and package chemicals according to company standards
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including unloading trucks using a forklift and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Assist with stock organization within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a clean work environment.
- Occasionally assist with local deliveries as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification or experience (training may be provided)
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Proficiency in English is required (reading, writing and verbal communication)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
