We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take on the role of Warehouse and Shipping Manager in our warehouses, packaging warehouses & shipping/receiving.
This position involves overseeing the organized and accurate sorting and placement of finished products and packaging materials & managing inventory of supplies going in and out of the warehouses. Additionally, this person will be responsible for managing purchase orders, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy, as well as managing shipping /receiving operations.
Key responsibilities include:
· Oversee daily warehouse operations: Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping food products.
· Ensure food safety compliance: Adhere to HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
· Inventory management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and coordinate with procurement.
· Team leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff.
· Develop new / improve existing processes for inventory management
· Process optimization: Improve layout, workflow, and logistics to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
· Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, and customer service teams to meet demand.
Requirements
· 10 years+ experience in warehouse or distribution management.
· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and warehouse management systems (WMS).
· Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with using / developing / customizing computerized tools for inventory control and management
· Proficiency with MS Windows computers / MS office / Excel
· Ability to work under pressure
