Schedule: Camp Maple runs for 3 weeks in July. July 7-11, 14-18, 21-25. You may apply for one, two, or all three weeks of camp. (All three weeks is preferred).

Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Maple Volunteers. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our camp operations and ensuring the safety and well-being of our campers. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and contribute to the success of our camp community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Camp Counsellors: Work closely with camp counsellors to facilitate activities, supervise campers, and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
- Engage with Campers: Interact with campers in a positive and supportive manner, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging participation in camp activities.
- Help with Activity Setup: Assist in setting up and organizing sports, arts and crafts, and other camp activities, ensuring materials are readily available and spaces are prepared for use.
- Supervise Campers: Provide supervision and guidance to campers during scheduled activities, meal times, and free play, ensuring adherence to camp rules and safety guidelines.
- Support Camp Operations: Assist with general camp tasks, such as distributing supplies, organizing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the campsite.
- Promote Camp Values: Uphold Camp Maple's values of inclusivity, respect, and teamwork, serving as a positive role model for campers and fellow volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and creating positive experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Previous experience working with children or in a camp setting is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a vulnerable sector background check.
