We are currently seeking psychotherapists who specialize in anxiety, OCD and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. This position is fully remote, although work in person is optional. In this position, the psychotherapist will be hired as an Independent Contractor. However, opportunities for permanent full-time employment may be available upon successful completion of the probation period.

Currently, our focus is supporting folks in their healing of trauma, OCD, anxiety disorders, relationship distress and gender-based violence. The term “Collective Care” is aimed to overcome the limitations of neoliberal individualism. There is a prevalent myth in the field that mental health that distress is due to the absence of self-care. While self-care is important, it is only one part of the puzzle. Rather than blaming individuals for their own distress, we want to work with them - collaboratively finding strategies and techniques towards their own transformative healing.
Our company will eventually expand to include trauma-informed yoga teachers, life coaches, physiotherapists, naturopaths, etc. to continue holistic healing.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- A Master’s degree and Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Experience providing psychotherapy to folks with OCD, anxiety and BDD
- Trained in ERP, EMDR for OCD, CBT-BDD and/or other specific therapies for treatment of OCD, anxiety and BDD
- Trained in other therapeutic techniques - Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, CBT, CPT, Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP), IFS
- Willing to be trained in SSP and RRP
- Deeply committed to their own growth as a anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and intersectional practitioner
