REPORTING TO: Art Director & Digital Marketing Director
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the art director to establish goals and concepts for seasonal web campaigns.
- Storyboard, design, produce and deliver multimedia projects such as video ad campaigns and social media content. Follow brand guidelines to create videos from start-to-finish.
- Attend photoshoots to capture required footage and behind the scenes content.
- Operate video camera and sound recording equipment on location or in-studio.
- Participate in the development and execution of our social media strategy.
- Edit long and short form content.
- Multimedia: apply text, graphics, sound and motion in post production video editing.
- Digital media: keep up with the quickly evolving social media platforms and digital outlets used to effectively advertise on the web.
- Stay on top of current trends in video production and social media.
- Collaborate with our creative team: graphic designers, copywriters and social media coordinator.
Skills:
- Storytelling and image composition techniques: possess the tools,
- techniques and applications for creativity.
- Recording and editing video and sound.
- Post-production: file organisation, colour correcting and exporting.
- Knowledge of various film styles.
- Writing skills: independently write a script.
- General understanding of music theory.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and French.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Organized and capable of following pre-determined work-flows.
Qualifications:
- Formal education in TV/film or related preferred
- Proficiency with Adobe CC Suite applications (Premiere Pro and Aftereffects) and other relevant post-production tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
