The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
As an VT/RVT on our team, you’ll be involved in every step of the patient care journey. You’ll work side by side with our DVM and support team, helping us provide top-notch care with a personal touch.
Your day-to-day could include:
Clinical & Preventative Care
- Assisting with exams and patient check-ins
- Monitoring vitals and physical assessments
- Giving treatments and medications under DVM supervision
- Keeping medical records tidy and up-to-date
Lab & Diagnostics
- Drawing blood, collecting urine/fecal samples
- Running in-house diagnostics and prepping lab submissions
- Taking and processing digital x-rays
Surgery & Dentistry
- Helping with surgical prep and recovery
- Monitoring anesthesia and vitals
- Performing dental cleanings and radiographs
Client Education & Support
- Explaining home care and treatment plans in simple terms
- Supporting pet parents before and after procedures
- Creating a calm, caring experience for clients and pets alike
Position Details
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
- Biweekly Saturday shift: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Compensation & Perks
- $19.00 – $25.00/hour, based on experience
