CBO Earthworks is seeking a skilled Vac-Truck Operator to join our growing team. With the recent addition of a Vac-Truck to our diverse fleet, we are expanding our service capabilities and looking for a motivated individual who is safety-driven, reliable, and experienced in vac-truck operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Vac-Truck for a variety of industrial, municipal, and commercial projects.
- Perform hydro-vac excavation and vacuum services while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete all required documentation.
- Transport, load, and unload materials as required.
- Maintain cleanliness, serviceability, and proper operation of the vac unit and associated equipment.
- Work collaboratively with foremen, site supervisors, and crew to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement (required).
- Previous vac-truck or hydro-vac experience preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to safety with knowledge of safe work practices in excavation and utility environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Grounding/bonding procedures knowledge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- CSTS, First Aid, Ground Disturbance Level II, and other safety certifications are considered assets.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekdays and weekends as required.
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
