This role is mainly responsible for:
- Developing UX design strategy and practices, driving execution across digital products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design practices are embedded in the product development lifecycle
- Managing the UX vendors to ensure the product deliveries from them are on time/budget/quality
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the UX strategy, practices and guidelines across products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- Drive the implementation of UX practices for digital products, and facilitate continuous improvement and change management
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure user-centered design practices are embedded in the product development lifecycle
- Manage the UX vendors to ensure the product deliveries from them are on time/budget/quality
- Coach and guide product teams on UX related activities to ensure consistency and quality across all touchpoints
- Facilitate UX workshops, and collaborative sessions. Translate insights into user journeys, wireframes/prototypes, and final designs.
- Define and track UX KPIs to measure impact and drive improvements
- Advocate for user-centered design principles, champion design standards, Present design decisions to executives and cross-functional teams
- Leverage AI and modern tools for efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging tools to continuously elevate design practices
Critical Capabilities:
- Proven experience leading UX design in a fast-paced, agile product environment
- Experience with design systems and scalable design practices.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and usability best practices.
- Experience conducting and leveraging user research and data analytics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration with product teams
- Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills. Ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to navigate through complex global environments, work effectively in multicultural settings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. UX Design, Design Thinking) are assets
- 10+ years of UX/Product Design experience
- Demonstrated success in delivering impactful user experiences
Experience working in agile product teams
