This role is mainly responsible for:

  • Developing UX design strategy and practices, driving execution across digital products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design practices are embedded in the product development lifecycle
  • Managing the UX vendors to ensure the product deliveries from them are on time/budget/quality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the UX strategy, practices and guidelines across products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Drive the implementation of UX practices for digital products, and facilitate continuous improvement and change management
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure user-centered design practices are embedded in the product development lifecycle
  • Manage the UX vendors to ensure the product deliveries from them are on time/budget/quality
  • Coach and guide product teams on UX related activities to ensure consistency and quality across all touchpoints
  • Facilitate UX workshops, and collaborative sessions. Translate insights into user journeys, wireframes/prototypes, and final designs.
  • Define and track UX KPIs to measure impact and drive improvements
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles, champion design standards, Present design decisions to executives and cross-functional teams
  • Leverage AI and modern tools for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging tools to continuously elevate design practices

Critical Capabilities:

  • Proven experience leading UX design in a fast-paced, agile product environment
  • Experience with design systems and scalable design practices.
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and usability best practices.
  • Experience conducting and leveraging user research and data analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration with product teams
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills. Ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to navigate through complex global environments, work effectively in multicultural settings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. UX Design, Design Thinking) are assets
  • 10+ years of UX/Product Design experience
  • Demonstrated success in delivering impactful user experiences
  • Experience working in agile product teams
