Advance Furniture Distribution is the warehouse for the Atrium Home Furnishing Centre (Gallery 1 Furniture, Worldwide Furniture, Ashley Furniture HomeStore). AFD has an opening for a Truck Helper to join our professional delivery team. As a Truck Helper you would be responsible for providing an overall positive delivery experience for customers of Atrium.
Shifts for this position are Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday and Monday off).

Responsibilities:
- Packing and loading product onto trucks; ensuring accuracy of orders;
- Working with the Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of product to predetermined customers on specific routes;
- Maneuvering merchandise into customer’s homes in an efficient and safe manner;
- Providing an exceptional delivery experience for customers through professionalism and superior customer service;
- Assembling furniture in customer homes
- Working in warehouse as required - unboxing furniture, loading furniture, assembling furniture, etc.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with furniture deliveries a strong asset (but willing to train)
- Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs in a safe manner
- Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
