We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the treasury operations across a diverse group of companies in various industries and locations. Role and responsibilities will include:
- Banking:
- Oversee the administration of account setup/closure, signatory management, and access control under direction of the Senior Manager – Treasury.
- Maintain bank relationships and ensure accurate transactions and processes.
- Ensure controls and procedures are robust and regularly reviewed.
- Facilitate domestic and international wire transfers.
- Provide ad hoc support as needed.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and report on daily cash positions for all entities.
- Support foreign exchange transactions, including hedges.
- Help optimize returns on cash balances and short-term investments, balancing risk and liquidity.
- Credit & Payment Solutions:
- Monitor compliance and reporting for credit lines, loans, and mortgages.
- Assist with corporate credit card and payment processing programs.
- Contribute to treasury-related projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ office experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or risk management.
- Demonstrated background in treasury operations, cash management, investments, and/or financial planning, ideally within a multi-company organization.
- CTP or CPA designation or post-secondary diploma in a related field considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and adept with digital systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
