Care At Home Services, a leader in quality home care is expanding our amazing team, seeking passionate and hardworking Licensed Practical Nurses. We are looking for Travel staff to support a long-term care facility in Penticton, BC.
The follow requirements are required to be a successful candidate.
· Great Attitude and open availability
· Graduated from a recognized Canadian Practical Nursing program
· Must have a valid BCCNM nursing license with no restrictions
· First Aid and CPR
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working within Scope of Practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Ensuring the safety of our clients in the facility and providing care as outlined within resident care plans
- Documenting client progress
- Ensuring the safety of our clients in the facility
- Escalating care issues to the Site Manager
Position Details:
- Immediate Start: 4-6 month contract
- Pay Rate: $49.00 per hour plus $30.00 per day for meals on days worked only (Option for $51.00 per hour with no meal allowance)
- Rotations Available:
- Option 1: Evenings - 4on, 2off, 5on, 3off (1500-2300)
- Option 2: Overnights (2300-0700) - hours dependent on operational needs - full-time hours
- Travel to the site and home from the site at the end of the contract will be covered by Care At Home Services
- Accommodations available - shared accommodations (private room will be provided)

- LTC: 1 year (required)
