Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Tradesperson in our Windsor, Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The tradesperson is responsible for supporting maintenance in supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong troubleshoot abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
- Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Stamping equipment i.e. feed line systems experience is an asset
- 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Post secondary education is a related field is an asset.
