Job Title: Tower Crane Rigger
Location: Greater Vancouver Area
Job Description: We are seeking Level 1 Certified Riggers to become a vital part of specialized lifting operations for commercial and industrial projects. We value precision, safety, and teamwork above all. You will be responsible for assisting crane operators in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment at construction sites. Your role will include rigging loads, ensuring proper weight distribution, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rig and secure loads for lifting by tower cranes
- Assist crane operations by rigging loads safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with crane operators and ground crew
- Perform pre-lift inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Monitor and adjust rigging equipment as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Inspect rigging gear and report defects
- Use hand signals and communication systems with equipment operators
- Maintain organized work sites and rigging logs
Qualifications:
- Valid Level 1 Rigging Certification
- Previous experience as a Tower Crane Rigger or similar role
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Certification in rigging or crane operation is an asset
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Lower Mainland
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
