Our People team at Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) is growing and we are looking for a Total Rewards Specialist to join our team. The position is based in Vancouver, and is reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards. In this role, you will combine analytical expertise with strategic insight to deliver competitive, equitable, and effective total rewards solutions that align with our business priorities.
So what’s your role as Total Rewards Specialist look like?
- Support effective administration of compensation programs including market survey participation, annual salary and bonus review process, data analysis, and pay equity;
- Support the design and implementation of compensation management processes;
- Conduct market research and job comparison analysis (compensation market pricing);
- Coordinate the annual compensation review cycle;
- Leveraging input from the HR team, Business Leaders, and market data to help design compensation strategies relevant for the business and strategically aligned to its priorities;
- Provide reporting and analysis of key metrics for the business as required;
- Review and development of leadership communication materials to support Total Rewards programs;
- Review and document total reward policies to ensure continued alignment with legislation and best practices
- Partner with HRIS to administer and maintain total rewards processes in Dayforce
- Stay current on best practices and trends related to total rewards areas
We respect the knowledge and experience you have gained to date and are willing to help you build on it. For this role we would expect you to have:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with compensation programs (base salary and short term incentives), ideally in a global setting.
- Experience working with benefit programs specific to Canada and ideally globally.
- Experience working with a human resource information system (HRIS) and specifically Dayforce an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
- Ability to think creatively and understand there is not a one size fits all solution.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Resiliency to handle the unexpected, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Experience in building and maintaining credibility within the HR team and with managers in the organization.
- Proven ability to excel in a matrixed work environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
- You take ownership of your work and pride on getting things done.
