Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Support Representative to assist contractors, engineers, sales staff, building owners and their representatives with technical support for different HVAC products. This position is based within Alberta.
You must be able to think quickly on your feet, and able to adapt to new and changing situations. One minute you may assist a customer in troubleshooting and fixing issues on a project over the phone. The next minute you are providing technical support on-line via the use of Webinars, Microsoft TEAMS, Zoom…etc. And then there will be times where an on-site visit and assistance is required. So, you need to be able to travel to sites around the province, occasionally on short notice.
You must know your way around a computer, and be able to work with programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive and Adobe just to name a few. Some skills with Auto Cad would also be an asset.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. You should be an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician with at least 5 years of work experience. Having your Red Seal ticket would be an asset. A familiarity with VRF/VRV systems would be an asset. A working knowledge of wiring, electronics and controls is needed. You should also have several years of Service experience and have mentored apprentices. Formal on the job training programs like Safety, First Aid, Forklift and Fall protection training would be welcome.
