Responsibilities
- Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams to create a smooth surface for painting or finishing.
- Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific areas, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and perform necessary repairs before finishing.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Read blueprints accurately to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and joints as needed.
