Are you looking to hit the road with purpose? Whistle Buoy Brewing Company is on the lookout for a reliable, physically fit, and beer-loving Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This 30-40 hour, permanent position is perfect for someone who thrives on independence, takes pride in excellent service, and doesn’t mind lifting a few kegs along the way.
What You’ll Be Doing:
● Safely delivering beer and product to accounts around Victoria, as well as occasional up-Island and Gulf Island deliveries
● Loading and unloading inventory and goods
● Maintaining accurate delivery logs and inventory records
● Supporting on the canning line, labelling and preparing product for cold storage
● Receiving product and breaking down pallets
● Representing the Whistle Buoy brand with a friendly and professional attitude
● Supporting the team with general organizational tasks around the brewery and delivery prep tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
● Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean driving record
● Experience in a similar role
● In good physical shape. Comfortably and safely lifting and moving heavy items such as full kegs (50L, 30L and 20L) as well as flats of beer, maneuvering pallets and full dollies etc
● Strong time management and problem-solving skills
● Strong communication skills
● Familiarity with Victoria and surrounding areas (bonus if you know your way around ferry schedules!)
● A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
