Job Summary
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the Support Workers of specific homes and communicating clear instructions to the support staff. The Team Leader provides directions, instructions and guidance to the team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Supervising the Support Workers to ensure that the organization’s policies, rules and correct work procedures are followed
- Promoting effective working relationships and a positive work environment while working with the Support Workers, families and the Members
- Schedule regular meetings with their team, take notes and post in a timely manner.
- Training new hires
- Ensure staff are communicating and recording in a clear manner.
- Scheduling. If there is difficulty filling a shift and all options have been exhausted, the Team Leader is responsible to work that shift
- Conducting performance evaluations of Support Workers
- Monitoring the household expenses
- Overseeing the Member’s care plan implementation
- Organize, accompany and follow through with all medical appointments
- Liaise with the Member’s family and provide them with regular updates, as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.70-$25.70 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
