We are currently recruiting for a Supply Technician to join our team which is embedded in the Canadian Forces base in
Cold Lake, Alberta. Reporting to the Supply Technician Lead, you will use your knowledge of supply chain processes and excellent teamwork skills to assist the department in storing, handling, and distributing aviation components to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Storing, receiving, and distributing CF-18 aircraft components to support day-to-day operations at Main Operation Base (MOB) units
- Preparation of deployment pack up kits
- Packing and handling of all material at the 'Window', preparation of shipping documents to supply centers
- Inventory Counts
- Support various other warehousing/stores related projects
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office tools including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Substantial knowledge of warehouse processes
- Meticulous attention to detail in document revision and control
- Customer service focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating day and evening shift period (Mon-Fri) and be willing to be ‘on-call’ outside of regular working hours when required
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ experience using the Canadian Forces system ‘DRMIS’, or experience working with a database system (i.e. SAP) of any type
- Experience working as an aircraft technician
- Familiar with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality System processes associated with configuration and data management
