About Us
QW School is launching an exciting Summer Camp program for youth aged 10–17, offering weekly workshops in Creative Arts, STEM, Leadership, and more. We are seeking energetic, responsible, and passionate Summer Camp Counselors to help lead and mentor our campers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with a group of campers aged 10–17
- Lead daily activities, games, and workshops related to weekly themes (Creative Arts, STEM, etc.)
- Ensure safety and well-being of all campers
- Support guest instructors and college mentors during sessions
- Manage transitions between activities, meals, and breaks
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful camp environment
- Communicate effectively with staff, campers, and parents
Qualifications
- College or university student (or recent graduate) in Education, Child & Youth Studies, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with children or teens in a leadership or teaching capacity
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with youth
- Vulnerable Sector Check (required upon hiring)
