Responsibilities:
- Lead campers in recreational and educational activities centered around agriculture, planting and harvesting, field and forest exploration, farm animal care, nature craft and water fun.
- Facilitate activities that promote mindfulness, such as guided nature walks, yoga and meditation exercises.
- Teach campers about sustainable farming practices, organic gardening, and the importance of environmental stewardship.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of counselors to create a positive and inclusive camp experience for all campers.
Qualifications:
- Passion for nature, mindfulness, and sustainable agriculture
- Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting
-Experience working with animals, preferrably farm animals.
- Knowledge of farming practices and/or gardening is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic about working with kids
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $17.50 per hour
