We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for the upcoming camp season. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers throughout their experience. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have a background in education or related fields.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Plan and implement educational and recreational programs that cater to the interests of the campers.
- Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.
- Provide support and guidance to campers in both group settings and one-on-one situations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of camp facilities.
- Participate in staff training sessions to enhance skills related to child development and safety protocols.
- Ensure safety and provide emergency care or first aid assistance when required.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
- Ability to educate and tutor campers on various subjects as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working outdoors.
- Must be able to work flexible hours during the camp season.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
