Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Camp Coordinator to join our team for an upcoming summer camp program. As a Camp Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for campers.
Duties:
-Korean language required
- Collaborate with counsellors to coordinate daily schedules of Korean language and cultural experience programs, age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Support counsellors and children throughout camp activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for counsellors and campers
- Manage drop-off and pick-up times daily
- Report the progress of camp planning to the Administrative Officer and Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a camp setting or similar environment
- Knowledge or background in Korean language & culture is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with campers, parents, and colleagues
Canada Summer Jobs Requirement:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment.
- Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and
- Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
