Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and landscape maintenance, with experience in gardening and the use of both hand and power tools. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and health of our gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring that they thrive throughout the seasons.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching to promote healthy plant growth.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in landscape maintenance, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and caring for flower beds.
- Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and monitor their efficiency.
- Identify and address issues related to pests or diseases affecting plants, applying appropriate treatments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
- Collaborate with team members to design and execute landscaping projects that enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, including plant care and soil management.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., shovels, pruners) and power tools (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers).
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.

Pay: $25.00-$39.00 per hour
