MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Schedule and facilitate outdoor, indoor, window, virtual & telephone visits with residents and friends/family.
· Transport residents to onsite programming, dining room and internal appointments
· Perform tasks such as: answering phones, calling out shifts through web based call out program.
· Assist residents with hand washing before and after meals.
· Spend time with residents engaging in outdoor walks and activities such as reading, card games and puzzles.
· Provides 1:1 resident support.
· Answer call bells and communicate residents’ concerns to staff.
· Collaborates with residents, families and team members to maintain a positive, supportive and safe environment for all.
· Be mentally and physically able to perform duties as assigned.
· Communicate positively with other staff, residents and families.
· Demonstrate empathy, concern and interest in providing quality care and service to residents
· Complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion and work safely at all times.
· Follow all workplace policies and procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.20-$18.01 per hour
