The Role
The Student Recruitment and Retention Lead is the lead ambassador for NWP, putting NWP’s best face forward. This position acts in a professional and positive manner to support and lead initiatives to attract and recruit students to NWP’s programs. This position is responsible for developing internal and external relationships, supporting strategies, liaising with contract employees, and leading the Student Recruitment Specialists. All such activities are pertinent to carrying out recruitment activities to support Northwestern Polytechnic recruitment strategies.
This position travels regionally to serve prospective students and attend recruitment events.
This is a leave replacement position from September 15, 2025 - September 25, 2026 or until return of incumbent.
The Student Recruitment and Retention Lead will be responsible for the following:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years relevant experience. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- an entrepreneurial spirit, specifically one who is willing to take a risk to create opportunities;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and
- a high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
As there is some travel required, the successful candidate is required to have a valid Class 5 Driver's license.
