About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead and Assistant Manager in lieu, the Stores Clerk A helps in the distribution and receipt of pharmaceutical inventory for the NS Provincial Drug Distribution Program (PDDP). Duties include picking, packing, receiving and replenishment of product in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail must be high to ensure accurate work in order to fulfill the drug requirements of pharmacies, nursing homes and other organizations within the healthcare system of NS. Warehouse specific tasks are directed by RF Wireless handheld devices, therefore comfort with technology is a must in addition to a keen desire to contribute to a successful team.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII or equivalent required
  • Experience in a warehouse setting an asset
  • One year of related experience preferred
  • Experience with computerized inventory control and tracking systems strongly desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive outlook highly preferred
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position; receiving stock cases
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including some weekends (only Sunday)
  • Competencies in other languages preferred; French an asset

Hours

  • Permanent Full-time (100%) position, 70 Hours Bi-Weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$21.99 - $23.63 Hourly
