Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales to achieve store goals. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, team management, and hands-on involvement in store activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting to maintain store profitability.
- Implement effective recruiting strategies to build a strong team; conduct interviews and onboarding processes.
- Supervise staff schedules and shift management to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through regular audits and effective stock management practices.
- Utilize retail math for pricing strategies, sales analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in purchasing and vendor management.
- Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Solid organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
