Bin City Liquidation is on the hunt for a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team! We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, highly organized, and confident managing a fast-paced retail environment. About the Role:
As Store Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team of staff, and ensure our store runs efficiently and professionally. You’ll work directly with the owners to maintain the high standards that set Bin City apart — clean, organized, and always customer-focused. You’ll also be responsible for pricing and processing merchandise from incoming skids, which requires the ability to research and determine competitive prices for a wide range of items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations, staffing, and scheduling
- Train, support, and motivate team members
- Oversee opening/closing procedures and daily cash handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Assist with inventory organization and large item processing
- Price and categorize inventory using research skills to determine market value
- Process merchandise from skids
- Use Microsoft tools and other internal applications for communication, record-keeping, and tracking
- Assist with content for social media (photos, videos, captions) to promote weekly inventory
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent product knowledge, with the ability to research and assess value quickly using online tools (Google, marketplaces, etc.)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other apps to stay organized
- Familiar with social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram
- Reliable, adaptable, and solution-oriented
- Available to work some evenings and weekends as needed
