Job Summary
Pino's Get Fresh is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Cleaner and Maintenance person to join our team. Full-time hours available. Wage is negotiable based on experience. Flexible availability required including some evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and minor repairs around the building and property, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or take direction from management.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, attending to spills and maintaining all public spaces
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure each department is fully stocked with any required cleaning supplies
- Maintain facilities and equipment by performing minor repairs and upkeep as needed.
- Identify and communicate any maintenance related issues to management as well as providing solutions
- Some lifting and moving of equipment, furniture is occasionally required
Requirements
- Previous custodial experience is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of basic repair tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
