As a Store Associate (Budtender), you play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales. You will assist customers with a friendly and welcoming approach, offering knowledgeable recommendations on cannabis products that suit their needs. Your goal is to ensure a complete and satisfying shopping experience while maintaining compliance with all cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- Build rapport with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.
- Address customer concerns and ensure they select the right product for them.
- Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system, including cash handling.
- Ensure all customer purchases comply with provincial cannabis regulations including checking photo ID.
- Ensure all signage and product displays are up-to-date and accurate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
Skills
- Must be 19+ (legal requirement).
- Selling It Right certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and develop product knowledge.
- Previous retail or cannabis industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling is a plus.
- Sales experience is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
