Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Cleaner to join our team at Sobeys Atlantic Tennis Centre, a busy and well-maintained tennis facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This part time postion is for weekends - Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and offices to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures.
- Utilize cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.
