We are seeking a highly passionate, organized, Senior Web Performance Manager to lead an in-house team of web strategy leads in driving lead generation across Fortra.com and other web properties. Reporting to the Web Marketing Director, this position will oversee and ensure we are providing data-driven SEO recommendations to our internal customers. If you are passionate about SEO, search and its evolution, have strong communication and presentation skills, and can lead a high-visibility team, this could be a great match!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the development and continuous refinement of our organic search strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and drives quality conversions, long-term pipeline growth, and closed-won revenue
- Own SEO performance metrics and regularly report on their impact to conversions, pipeline, and revenue; develop business strategies to improve performance tied to business goals
- Partner with web strategy leads, ensuring we’re consistently delivering strong, data-driven SEO recommendations
- Help standardize web strategies and tactics for our web properties in partnership with internal customers and other web team leaders.
- Work closely with paid media and product marketing teams to align SEO efforts with high-converting user journeys and overall search experience
- Building strong relationships and ensuring open communication with internal customers.
- Identifying and sharing successful website tactics the other internal customers for adoption.
- Helping direct reports build presentations with clear recommendations in advance of scheduled internal customer meetings.
- Stay abreast of SEO trends and search engine changes.
- Documenting processes and creating templates to ensure processes are scalable and repeatable.
- Manage SEO and AEO tools (ie. SEMRush, BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Profound, Cognizo, etc)
- Manage a team and cultivate an environment of teamwork, creativity, dependability, growth, and continuous improvement.
- Fill in for direct reports as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
- 7 or more years of relevant experience in SEO
- 3 or more years of leadership/people management experience
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- High proficiency with Google tools (ie. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio)
- Hands-on experience in technical and content SEO, with a track record of driving growth
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong collaboration skills in planning and preparing
