Job Description
Eggs & Co. Canada LTD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Bar and Restaurant Manager to oversee operations at our busy, family-friendly restaurant and sports bar in Sedgewick, Alberta. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, customer-focused, and able to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
In line with NOC 60030, the manager will:
- Plan, organize, and control daily operations of the restaurant and bar
- Supervise and coordinate staff activities, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain food and beverage stock levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and provincial liquor regulations
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve complaints promptly
- Develop work schedules and monitor labour costs
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase customer engagement
- Prepare budgets, track revenues, and manage financial reporting
- Liaise with kitchen staff and oversee food and beverage quality
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for staff and guests
Requirements
Education:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality or business management is an asset
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in a full-service restaurant or bar
Language:
- English, fluent in both oral and written communication. Conversational Tagalog is an advantage
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) regulations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management
