About Us:
The Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce (GPRC) represents the vibrant business communities of Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County, and surrounding areas. We provide advocacy, support, and networking opportunities that help local businesses thrive. We're currently seeking a motivated, results-driven Sponsorship Coordinator to help us grow and maintain strong sponsor relationships for our programs and events.
Position Summary:
This is a commission-only position ideal for a self-starter with strong sales and relationship-building skills. You’ll be responsible for securing sponsorships for Chamber events, programs, and initiatives, earning commission based on closed deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential sponsors across various industries.
- Develop custom sponsorship packages tailored to each business.
- Reach out to businesses via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Negotiate and close sponsorship agreements.
- Ensure sponsor benefits are delivered (e.g., signage, logos, mentions).
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, agreements, and commissions.
- Represent the Chamber at events and networking functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, fundraising, or sponsorship development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with the Greater Parkland business community is a strong asset.

Compensation:
Commission only – paid per closed sponsorship deal per month. Earnings depend on performance and the volume of sponsorships secured.
