About the role...
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sponsorship Customer Success Manager to join our team. This role will focus on guiding our clients as they move through our structured curriculum, as they achieve their sponsorship revenue goals. The Sponsorship Coach will enforce the curriculum, provide subject matter expertise, and hold clients accountable as they complete the necessary work themselves. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about consulting and empowering organizations to successfully secure sponsorships through structured learning and hands-on effort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sponsorship Strategy Consulting: Guide clients in applying the lessons from the curriculum to their own sponsorship strategies. Guide clients identify potential sponsors, create compelling proposals, and build long-term sponsorship plans based on the framework provided in the program. White glove consulting for enterprise clients.
- Curriculum Enforcement & Guidance: Facilitate clients' engagement with our sponsorship curriculum by providing consulting and reinforcing key lessons. Ensure that clients understand our programs and are able to apply the concepts and strategies to their own sponsorship efforts.
- Revenue: Own revenue growth within accounts by identifying and executing on opportunities to upgrade clients to advanced offerings.
- Supporting Client Work: Support clients as they complete sponsorship-related tasks such as reaching out to potential sponsors, conducting discovery calls, and creating sponsorship proposals. Offer feedback and suggestions based on their progress and challenges.
- Client Accountability: Provide consulting and hold clients accountable for applying consulting feedback to their sponsorship strategy.
- Sponsorship Training and Workshops: Reinforce clients' understanding of the sponsorship landscape, industry best practices, and differentiation between sponsorship, cause marketing and fundraising. Ensure clients have the knowledge to approach potential sponsors confidently and effectively. Conduct sponsorship workshops.
- Monitoring Client Progress: Track client engagement with the curriculum and monitor their progress through the program. Provide constructive feedback to help clients stay on course, overcome challenges, and improve their results.
- Motivational Support: Offer encouragement and help clients build confidence as they work through the process of securing sponsorships. Ensure they feel empowered to take full ownership of their sponsorship efforts.
- Networking & Industry Development: Stay updated on trends in sponsorships and marketing, ensuring that the consulting provided aligns with current industry best practices. Share relevant insights and resources with clients as they navigate the sponsorship space.
- Help Create Program Champions: Our clients love us and what we do. Our graduates are successful in obtaining their sponsorship revenue goals, give us a promoter NPS score and refer their industry peers to us. You would contribute to that.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience in sponsorship acquisition in event and festival sponsorship. Non-profit sponsorship, in addition, is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of sponsorship strategies, proposal development, and relationship management.
- Experience in consulting, mentoring, or leading individuals or teams, with the ability to help clients apply curriculum to real-world tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clarify complex concepts and motivate clients.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and track their progress effectively.
- A passion for helping organizations succeed by teaching them how to independently secure sponsorships.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, non-profit management, or a related field.

- Meet 2-4x a month in the Toronto area with team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
