Speech-Language Pathologist
PREP is well known for its success in supporting families and children with Down syndrome, and we take pride in our role as an advocate for inclusion for over 36 years. Our therapists educate parents, health care professionals, and educators about best practices for communication skill development and identify measurable, achievable goals that motivate parents and professionals to work together to help each child realize their full potential.
PREP currently has an opening for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multi-disciplinary team and make a real difference in the lives of children with Down syndrome. This unique opportunity will provide a range of experiences to develop your skills as an SLP and allow you to share your expertise as you work alongside families, staff, educators, and other professionals. We are currently looking for someone to provide support to our PREP families by providing a combination of onsite fee-for-service, in-home FSCD contract support, and involvement in our multidisciplinary group programs. While there is some flexibility in hours, FSCD contracts for K-12 students require therapy support to be offered outside of school hours, which means some availability during later afternoons (no later than 5:30pm) will be required. PREP is currently in need of someone to fulfill a 0.8 FTE position (28hrs/week) Tues-Fri, but there may be some flexibility depending on the experience and flexibility of the successful candidate.
