Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content that aligns with our brand messaging and resonates with target audiences.
- To create content based on activities / events / interviews of individuals supported or CLNH employees to speak of their interests and experiences
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition.
- Being a part of community events that are hosted by CLNH or participating in
- To participate and support our fundraising events – take the lead on community connections, relationship development, social media content, and liase to the fundraising board committee
- Manage and update content on our website to ensure it captures all organizational needs, events, etc.
- To take the leadership on branding of the organization, to create content and increase exposure in our communities of support
- To engage in community development relationships – by creating opportunities for presentations and connections with service clubs in our areas
- Engagement in Grant writing and proposals for the organization
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Experience and understanding of EDI is a bonus
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
Abilities/Skill Requirements:
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills across digital platforms.
- Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, email platforms, social media schedulers).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Participate in our community offices and engage with teams
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
