Position Overview:
We are hiring a Social Media & Website Manager through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. This full-time position is perfect for someone creative, organized, and passionate about telling stories, engaging people online, and using digital platforms to spread the Gospel. You’ll work with our lead pastor and team to build a strong digital presence that reflects the heart of our church.
Responsibilities Include:
- Plan and post content 3–5 times per week across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Tik Tok)
- Create reels, stories, and posts that highlight Sunday services, midweek events, testimonies, and ministry opportunities
- Capture and edit high-quality videos and photos during Sunday services (attendance required weekly)
- Monitor engagement and help grow our local reach through consistent content and community-building
- Collaborate with other summer students and volunteers
- Create advertising campaigns
Requirements:
- Social media management tools (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
- Graphic design (Canva or similar)
- Video editing (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
- Website management/design (e.g., Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, etc.
To qualify under the Canada Summer Jobs program, applicants must:
- Be between 15–30 years old at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status (No international students)
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: August 8, 2025
- Hours: 35 hours per week (Full-Time)
- Pay: $18.50/hour
- Location: Ayr, Ontario - Must have a car (no public transit access in Ayr)
