We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from various surfaces, including roads, parking lots, and walkways. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and the ability to operate various power and hand tools effectively. The Snow Plow Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining accessibility during winter weather conditions.
Duties
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow from designated areas.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including digging, building, and irrigating.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for snow removal and maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during operations.
- Respond promptly to changing weather conditions and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage snow removal operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot equipment effectively.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience with hand tools for various maintenance tasks.
- Physical capability to lift heavy loads, dig, and perform manual labor as required.
- A valid driver's license is required; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
