Are you a cool, down to earth, customer service guru with tourism background AND a Driver's Licence? SKY Helicopters is looking to expand our Shuttle Driver Team! We are Vancouver’s #1 Heli-Tour company with some exciting plans on the horizon. We are more than a heli-tour company, we also fight forest fires to protect our beautiful province and do industry work. We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries effectively. You will be responsibly for driving our Ford Transit passenger van safely while picking up our guests from all downtown Vancouver hotels and guide them to our SKY Hangar where they will experience a variety of helicopter tours. You will start and end your day at the Vancouver heliport in downtown Vancouver.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanour.
- Educate visitors on our products and sell them the best option to make their visit to Vancouver the best imaginable.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing solutions or escalating issues as needed.
- Strong and confident communication skills (spoken and written)
- Experience in BC’s tourism industry
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Process reservations and cancellations in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in managing guest feedback through surveys or direct communication to improve service quality.
- Creative thinker that can think outside the box and always put the guest first.
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Valid BC Driver’s License
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work mornings and must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software is an advantage.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Familiar with the world of aviation
- Experience with taking reservations
- Sales experience
- Can speak well in front of people

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
