The Job:
We’re looking for a Skid Steer Operator to lead helical screw pile installations on our job sites. You’ll run the show, operating equipment and guiding a laborer to get the job done right. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Running skid steers and support equipment to install helical screw piles with precision
- Driving a loaded truck and trailer to sites across Western Canada
- Supervising a laborer to assist with installations
- Reviewing site plans and pile schedules to keep projects on track
- Performing pre- and post-trip equipment inspections and reporting issues
- Handling load securement and operating company vehicles safely
- Leading daily toolbox talks and hazard assessments to keep safety first
- Working with the team to deliver high-quality results for our clients
- Keeping equipment in top shape and representing Twist Screw Piles professionally
What You Bring:
- Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years running skid steers or similar equipment
- Experience in driving a truck (4500) and trailer
- Knowledge of piling or construction processes is a plus
- Mechanical skills for equipment maintenance
- Survey/layout experience (total station or builder’s level) is an asset
- Certifications:
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (or higher) with a clean abstract (max 5 demerit points, 1 collision)
- Global Ground Disturbance, Level II Certification
- Standard First Aid, Level “C” CPR Certification
- Extra points for Leadership for Safety Excellence, H2S, Fall Protection
- Qualities:

- Comfortable traveling and being away from home for 2-3 weeks at a time
- Strong work ethic and a focus on safety

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
