Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders and other heavy equipment to perform various tasks such as Backfilling and Grading. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy equipment operation to ensure efficient and safe job performance.
Duties
- Operate skid steer loaders to perform tasks including backfilling foundations, Backfilling utility Trenches, Loading Trucks, Lot Grading, Base Prep and Acreage development
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with skid steers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
- Ability to operate other construction equipment as needed.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to Pull a trailer with 1 ton Truck

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 60 per week
