Job Summary
Horizon Sign Solutions is in search of a well-rounded knowledgeable Sign Fabricator/installer who is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. The individual is also detail-oriented, works well in a fast paced team environment, adaptable and can efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities
- Assist with Sign design and proof development
- Printing, cutting, laminating large format prints onto various substates
- Fabrication and installation of various types of signs including vinyl graphics and signage.
- Communicate with co-workers and customers regarding sign projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
- Maintain company signage equipment and inventory
- Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to job
- Please note this position is not Graphic Designer position though will be an asset
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Professional Sign Fabricator/installer
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
- Basic understanding of measurements and material handling
- Experience working with hand and power tool
- Experience in large format digital printing/cutting and lamination equipment
- Installation in vinyl and laminate application and custom signage
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and trouble shooting skills with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and technology
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Proficiency in Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and RIP software an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.50 per hour
