Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing various products according to specifications and ensuring high-quality workmanship. The Installer will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, utilizing hand tools, and performing heavy lifting as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials (vinyl, wood, metal, fiber cement, etc.).
- Prepare and repair surfaces to ensure proper installation.
- Seal, caulk, and weatherproof siding to prevent water and air leaks.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with building codes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications and skills
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing siding materials.
- 2 years of experience required
- Reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and building codes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints or technical drawings.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Time management to meet project deadlines.
