Summary
We are a locally family owned company of 49 years seeking a retired or semi retired dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse, ensuring that all products are accurately are processed in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a small, team friendly company.
- PART TIME ONLY 20-25 hours per week,
- Bondable with a forklift certificate.
- Responsible for shipping and receiving in a third-party warehouse for multiple companies, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely dispatch of goods.
- Proficient in computer use for processing orders and generating monthly reports.
- Candidates must be reliable and dependable.
- Suitable for semi-retired or retired individuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles, preferably within a warehouse setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
