Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in managing food costs and minimizing waste through efficient kitchen practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries regarding menu items.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food presentation styles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and guests professionally.
