Key Position Functions:
- Documentation of shipping records
- Unload, sort and inspect incoming material
- Prepare outgoing material for shipment
- Ensure proper paperwork flow of Purchase Orders and packing slips, rental returns
- Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance of equipment, product storage containers and racking
- Assist with rental assemblies as required
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to complete work duties
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Participate in rotational on call schedule as required
- Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting Assembly and Valves as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- High School Diploma, supplemented with 1 to 2 years of related shipping and receiving experience
- Mechanical assembly/repair experience an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office or an ERP system; use of RF guns
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic, self-motivated
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
