Job Summary
Jaguar Land Rover Lakeridge is currently seeking a full time Service Porter to join our team. The Service Porter is responsible for assisting the Service Department with vehicle movement, customer service, and general maintenance of the service area
We are looking for the right candidate who has an enthusiasm for cars, wants to work in the automotive industry, and has a great attitude.
A valid G Ontario Driver's license with a clean abstract is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Move Vehicle to and from the service drive, parking areas , and technician bays
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service area and parking lot
- Assist in parking and retrieving customer vehicles efficiently and safely
- Perform basic vehicle checks, such as ensuring gas levels and tire pressure.
- Ensure compliance with dealership safety and operational procedures
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Work Schedule and Environment
- Full time - 40 hours work week, with shifts based on dealership hours between 8am and 8pm
- Alternate Saturdays is required
- Work is primarily outdoors and in the service area
- May require occasional lifting and physical activity
